No need for grease gun or needle. Just remove the spring clip from around the boot, stretch the boot out a bit, fill the boot with engine oil, replace the spring clip. After a day or so the squeak is gone.

Terrible design, you can only inflate the rear tyres with this set up. Most cords on the 12v compressor aren’t long enough to reach the front.
